2001 saw the birth of the first Sushiexpress in one of the stalls at the Galvany Market. The second shop came in the late 2006—needless to say the Take Away service provided by Sushiexpress has been a real breakthrough. It is thanks to them we are now able to enjoy a selection of sushi, maki and other Japanese specialities on our own sofa on any of the 365 days of the year. And if you are worried about the fact that fresh fish is rare on Mondays, do not fret: Sushiexpress has managed to receive fresh fish every day so they can guarrantee the quality of their service all year round.

Sushiexpress includes take away service and home delivery. If you are among those that love to cook Japanese dishes, you may also buy all the necessary materials: you can have your fresh fish cut by experts for the type of sushi you want, seaweed, rice, and of course drinks —beer, or special wines to wash down your chosen delicacies.
