Walk with me is a very special publishing house and creative studio specializing in maps and, as a logical consequence, in city guides. A world they approach from a rather unconventional perspective, making great efforts to distance themselves from that solemn and boring cast of usual travel guides that flood bookstores, unable to surprise us.

Walk With Me proudly say: “Not all paper maps deserve to be made into paper and we believe it is an honor that must be earned.” This is declaration of intent shows us the way to understand their modus operandi. Walk With Me’s guides go beyond merely pointing out what you should or should not do in this or that neighborhood. They seek new ways of talking about cities that engage the reader and that are also visually stimulating to make of the experience reading a city guide something livable, enjoyable, educational and fun, something to make us go traveling!

Walk with me is a very special publishing house and creative studio specializing in maps and, as a logical consequence, in city guides.

Having published a successful Madrid guide, Walk With Me now presents a Barcelona guide that combines geography, illustration, narrative, graphic design and urbanism. “A new look at the Catalan capital with text and illustrations with which we want to engage and inspire the reader with stories that express the character of each neighborhood, uniting both locals and visitors in search of the most authentic city.” The Barcelona guide is the work of illustrators Andrés Lozano y Tatiana Boyko, along with the insightful prose of Isa Roldán. The result is a collection of four guides focusing on the most emblematic areas of the city: Born and Gotic, Raval and Sant Antoni, Barceloneta, Poblenou and Gràcia. Each guide examines the areas in detail. There is history and culture, gastronomy, shopping and night life… In short, guides made the old fashioned way, with love and dedication, but deeply contemporary. Get yours here for 10€ each.
