Made to dislike. This is the leitmotiv Taller de Feeas, an amazing place located in Conde Duque where its owner Remedios Vicent gives life to old pieces with great creativity.

Remedios Vincent began working in advertising, but decided change her life and pursue what she was really passionate about: art. Remedios runs the blog on emerging contemporary art Flores en el Ático and this curious shop where she carries out laborious construction of surreal and disturbing jewellery.

Remedios searches in antique shops and flea markets for material such as old medical instruments, porcelain dolls, glass eyes or leftover gear. She takes these objects out of context, giving them a new and surreal life. Brooches with teeth, rings ocular prosthetics, and pots made ??of broken porcelain dentures are some of her creations. She also sells a selection of inexpensive clothing designers by Rick Owens, Alexander Wang or Yamamoto.

You will find Remedios working at the workshop from 6pm to 10pm. Taller de Feeas is a place that can cause either rejection or fascination, but it won’t leave you indifferent. So drop by and find out yourself!
