Although they serve gourmet meat, if you’re into vegetables we recommend you to continue reading nonetheless because there’s a section for you at SQD’s Meet Bar for all palates. Located at a stone’s throw from the Biblioteca Nacional, it is run by Carolina and Julién and specializes in meat with the advice of Yves-Marie Le Bourdonnec. Now SDQ has included more dishes in the menu of the Meet Bar, an area located upstairs that serves tapas at lunch and dinner time.

The new seasonal produce incorporated in the menu gives SQD a new dimension. To the delicious beef jerky croquettes, their legendary bravas, their pincho de tortilla and their cheese board, which you shouldn’t miss, now they have added a seasonal vegetable tosta with sardines and rocket; red tuna lasagna; toast with cod, oil, garlic and peppers; endives with Roquefort, grenade and walnuts; fried artichokes or grilled vegetables with romesco sauce.

But if you’re more into meat, try their mini hamburger trio (calf, beef, ox) or the Madrid beef steak, as well as new additions such as small chicken with chimichurri, Picnic board with rillete, pickle, butter, sausage and Iberian pork or lamb chops with pumpkin puree that will take you to heaven.

If you want to finish off with a dessert, try the dessert chariot and toast with champagne.

Book a table and say we recommended it to you. You’ll go back!
