Don’t know about you, but all that precious and sweetened imagery surrounding the world of cakes, cupcakes and cookies has become extremely tiresome. Those pastel shades, that air of innocence… That world of famous encouraging quotations in which everything is beautiful and everyone is good. Enough, please! Muffins, cakes and cookies don’t necessarily have to wave the flag of the naive, and I guess that’s Sarah Brockett also thought. This American graphic designer has launched a fictional branding work for a new company she called The Bold Bakery, which turns out to be the rudest bakery, or perhaps the most sincere.

Behind a nice, friendly and loving appearance typical of that naif world, there are pastries, cakes, biscuits and muffins in a really bad mood. From the classic Happy B-Day, Sarah Brokett goes to other more rude messages such as Go Away, Eat Shit or Nobody Loves you.
