On Paseo de la Habana we discovered Pipa & Co, a new restaurant with an elegant design that has become a must. The place is tiny but very cosy. Its highlight is a small patio surrounded by trees.

The décor follows current trends with industrial touches and a vintage feel, with a concrete bar, lots of wood, retro chairs and plenty of natural light. The menu is short but filled with delicious dishes such as poached eggs with potato and truffle, delicious and crispy pizzas with seasonal mushrooms and farmyard hen’s egg poultry or classic fresh pasta with ragout. Other dishes include tasty tuna tartar and chipote sirloin tacos with guacamole and mushrooms. To wash all this down, Pipa & Co proposes a wide selection of wines and champagnes. As for desserts, try their homemade cake with biscuits and Smarties, which will take you back to your childhood birthdays. But that’s not all, don’t be in a hurry to leave. They will lower the lights, turn up the volume and serve cocktails.

A meat at Pipa & Co is about 20-25 euros.
