In the heart of Madrid’s finantial district, near Orense Street, we discovered the restaurant Pedralbes, a tribute to Mediterranean food, particularly to rich Catalan high cuisine. Carefully selected raw materials, quality cooking and an excellent service make of Pedralbes a highly recommendable restaurant.

The restaurant is divided into two floors and boasts a neat and elegant decor that blends classic lines with modern and Mediterranean-themed paintings. In fine weather, the restaurant opens a large terrace that expands and occupies part of the square where it is located.

The menu features a wide selection of seafood, such as lobsters, oysters and red prawns from Palamos, ideal to start the evening. As a second course we recommend creamy cod brandade gratin, snails or tasty roasted vegetables. Try the cabellón fideuá or the famous grilled butifarra with white beans. In addition to the dishes on the menu, the restaurant organizes gastronomic days depending on the season, one example being the calçots season and acalçotada right in the centre of Madrid.

The wine list includes national and international brands, with Catalan wines being the most visible: Camins del Priorat red sor Raimat Cabernet Sauvignon.
