A few months ago, we introduced you with great enthusiasm the Solomillo restaurant. Located inside the Hotel Alexandra, in the heart of Barcelona’s Eixample, it stands out for a risky culinary proposal focused on meat, and, more specifically, on sirloin and premium cold meats. All served in a very stylish environment, run by Madrid chef Enrique Valentí. This paradise for lovers of good meat and sausage has opened a wonderful Patio, an oasis of peace and gastronomy —located, like its brother Solomillo, also inside the same hotel— to dine quietly outdoors surrounded by lush vegetation, from 10:30am to 1:00am.

The place is perfect to hide from the city’s hustle and bustle, to disconnect and to look at the sky

Once inside the Patio, guests are overtaken by a pleasant feeling of peace despite sitting right in the city centre (between Passeig de Gràcia and Rambla Catalunya). The place is perfect to hide from the city’s hustle and bustle, to disconnect and to look at the sky. Jose Farriols designed the space, where plants intermingle with stone details in the walls creating a feeling of freshness. There are also wooden pergolas that provide sought-after shade.

Enjoying top-quality meat in such a special place is a great plan to spend the summer in the city. Prices are affordable considering the quality of the produce. For about 30€, guests can enjoy a 125-gram sirloin cut with a garnish to choose, several sauces and a drink. If you’re in for an after-meal conversation, try their signature cocktails combined with some of their succulent desserts!
