More and more hotels are driven by an interest to please their customers and to position themselves as a gastronomic champion or, at least, as a relevant option. All of them opt for restaurants that have a lot to say in the city’s gastro panorama. An example? Nice to meet you, which dispels the idea that hotels are just hotels with no room for innovation.

Either summer or winter you’ll find the best gastronomic views in the city

Located in the heart of the city, on the roof of the Dear Hotel, a cosmopolitan four-star boutique hotel, Nice to meet you is part of a 360° lounge.

Informal and run by the chef Ruben Rodríguez Vinagre, it offers Mediterranean dishes with a modern touch served in comfortable portions to share.

An ideal and celebrated meeting point to enjoy tomato tartar in different textures and varieties; Stewed Iberian cheek gyozas; ham croquettes; delicious foie with apple, orange, goat cheese, Tahiti vanilla and broken vinaigrette; burrata campaña alla Norma with spinach cream; red tuna tartar with Iberian mango, mint and bacon; London sandwich with boneless Cajun-style roasted ribs with onion, cheddar and marmite; marrow and boletus consommé or a sirloin steak that incites the most sinful of vices.

After your meal, you can enjoy dessert, coffee or cocktails in the charming lounge area decorated by interior designer Sandra Tarruella while listening to a Dj set. The saying ‘De Madrid al cielo’ had never been so real.
