Few restaurant names honor their product as La Tremenda, a pizza restaurant located in Barcelona’s upper side that opened just a year ago and which is now a must for pizza lovers.

Who said pizza rations couldn’t be original and exquisite?

And we say original because the ingredient combination at La Tremenda is just perfect, and what’s even more important, they’re not boring or tiresome.

Among the combinations are butifarra with caramelized onion with vermouth; asparagus and goat cheese; pumpkin base with smoked cheese and Italian bacon; butifarraand honey or assorted mushrooms with truffle oil… And believe us—all of them are worth it!

The restaurant is not very big. At La Tremenda everything is thought for the delight of only a few guests. All pizzas are thing-doughed and unique and are priced by the kilo. The bar has space for about 5 or 6 people. Then there’re a couple of tables set with a lot of taste for about 6 people. Luckily, La Tremenda is not too busy for now, so you will probably find a seat to enjoy their delicious pizzas.

In addition to pizzas, there menu also includes some of the best artisanal beers of the moment.

Such original pizzas can only be washed down by original drinks, among them Condal, Cerdos Voladores, 942 and Flor de la Vida. As for desserts, all made a La Tremenda’s kitchen, we highlight tiramisu and carrot cake. Dinner is about 20€, cheap enough to try these wonderful pizzas made in Barcelona.
