Nowadays it is hard to find places that aren’t crowded. We live in a world that is constantly moving. Nobody seems to be able to stop and look. However, photographer Jannike Stelling did stop to take some photographs. Stages is her newest project, in which she manages to capture the tranquility of empty spaces in South Africa.

Embarked on a business project, she walked around Cape Town for ten days. At that time, the capital was getting ready for the World Cup and a great job was being made to adapt it to the expectations of such an event. Many buildings had been painted and refurbished, which caught her attention. Her photographs are a compendium of pastel-colored, clean and quiet spaces, images that hide no special meaning. They are just a beautiful event, with unique and characteristic colors and shapes. City spaces that are not exaggeratedly crowded.
