You may not know it but ?idò’ is one of the few common words in the Balearic Islands, a word common to people of Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera. It may mean ironic, surprised, imperative or conclusive. The only certainty is that if you hear ?idò’ you know you’re close to someone from the Balearic Islands, like the three founders of idò d.o. balear.

After some time away from Ses Illes, they soon missed to eat a pamboli amb tomàtigues de ramallet or a cocarroi de ceba encara mig tebi. And they thought that they should not be the only ones. That is why they decided to launch this project, their particular island in Barcelona.

In this space, located on Viladomat, 43, you will find exclusive products from the Balearics, products not commonly offered in supermarkets: wines, spirits, meat, cheeses, crackers, pasta, sweets… many of them from small producers, with designation of origin and s quality seal. Get ready to enjoy the famous ensaimadas, the delicious Majorcan brown bread, Mahon cheese, salt d’Es Trenc or a Suau gintónic.

idò d.o. balear also organizes cooking workshops, children’s activities, music and many other activities always linked to the islands. How about a trip to the Balearic Islands?
