Today’s 30-somethings were teens in the 90s and so we have a special attachment to that decade. Prodigious, wicked, crazy, fast and full of pastiches, the 1990s marked an unforgettable before and an after. Good proof of that is that, for some years now, fashion firms, musicians and other cultural agents are recovering the incomprehensible ethics and aesthetics of those years with reinterpretations for all tastes. As far as sportswear is concerned, the trend is following suit, with hummel as one of the standard bearers.

The collection is focused on the release of a tribute to the 3-S sneakers from the 1990s.

In April this year we announced the return of hummel with a FW14 collection focused on the release of a tribute to the 3-S sneakers from the 1990s. Included in the series Decades of Running, the design team drew inspiration from old hummel models. The result is a collection of retro-running sneakers made from nylon, microfiber and suede in four and eclectic colorways. They are also available in two exclusive versions: white or black leather for a more discreet, monochromatic look.
