The delicate porcelain sculptures by Japanese Hitomi Hosono are true works of art. His very detailed sculptures, usually vessels, are made up of small overlapping pieces which create an unparalleled baroque and natural world.

Inspired by tropical flowers and corals from the South Pacific, this last series adds color for the first time. Green, yellow and orange give a colorful touch to fine, translucent porcelain. Hitomi will exhibit his work at the Jerwood Makers Open 2014 that promotes new emerging artist.
