Let’s be clear. There has been a lot of fuss about meat quality ever since hamburgers became part of our diet and there are still many people who wrongly associate this with fast food. Now there’s a new restaurant in the city that certifies the organic origin of all their meats.

Heart Burger serves homemade hamburgers with a feature that sets them apart from the rest: the heart-shaped bread that pays tribute to the restaurant’s name. Their owners say that Heart Burger cows graze in soil located 1,500 meters high, far from stress and pollution. Herbicides and pesticides are ruled out.

If you’ve never been to Heart Burger, we recommend the Heart Burger made with organic meat, Parmigianino cheese, rocket, Iberian ham and truffles. A more exotic option is the Oriental Burger with organic meat, caramelized onion, shitake and soy sauce or the Tex-Mex, with organic meat, Cheddar cheese, beans and jalapeños. In addition to this, you can also order their own creations, such as the Rustic Burger with roasted peppers, goat cheese, pine nuts and olive oil or the Foie Burger, with caramelized onion, foie and Porto reduction.

Heart Burger also has an assorted salad menu and also dishes for celiacs. As for desserts, the menu includes Wild Strawberry Cake, Lemon Mousse, Cheese Cake, Fresh Fruit Salad or Ice Creams. A meal at Heart Burger is about 15/20 EUR.
