The Galería Cromo is located in one of Barcelona’s most populated districts, Gracia –characterized by its traditional people, its landmarks and for being the very essence of the Condal City. This brand new gallery is devoted to illustration and drawing. This 120m2 space also boasts a 25m2 yard to host exhibitions, workshops and courses, a true marvel with a light distribution and composition which in itself is a true work of art.

Galería Cromo: Talent, innovation and art in the middle of Gracia

The aim of Natalia Zaratiegui, the illustrator and creator of the project, revolves around the need to boost drawing and illustration in Barcelona. For the opening there were works by Arnal Ballester,Riki BlancoDavid De Las Heras,Meritxel Duran Pastisseria Canal,Berto MartínezPepón MenesesPep Montserrat and Miguel Pang, among many others who wanted to contribute their bit to make of this place a meeting point for the expression, proportion, enthusiasm and talent of everyone willing to participate.

This new project starts full of enthusiasm and with the aim to eventually create a niche for the forgotten world of illustration and drawing, thus giving the opportunity to professionals to showcase their most precious jewels. The exhibitions will be held every two months and will be both individual and thematic.

Talent, innovation and art … What more could we ask for! We love this proposal and we wish her all the success in the world.
