Tapas are not just a Spanish custom. In other countries they also like to share and taste different things. The Chirrión restaurant, located in the heart of the Chueca neighbourhood, they serve antojitos, the Mexican tapas. Chirrión is the best place in the capital to taste antojitos, which are made with millenary ingredients and recipes.

The restaurant boasts a modern decoration in white and orange shades, a simple style with details reminiscent of Mexico. The menu includes a wide variety of antojitos from all regions in the country. We recommend you to taste tacos, especially the mole poblanocochinita pibil and pastor. The menu also features quesadillas of all kinds, delicious burritosand tamales, and salads with nopales, etc. The offer is extensive and is complemented with the classic molcajete cooked in volcanic stone.

Leave some room in your stomach for the warm corn cake or the crepa de cajeta. And to wash all this down, try the classic Margarita in its different versions: Blue Lagoon, Diabla with Tabasco and Piña Colada and Coco.

Eating a la carte is about 20 euros. There are offers several days a week. On Thursdays they serve tacos and a small draft beer for 1? until 8pm, with Dj included. On Sundays, a highly recommendable brunch is served for 19? with a free buffet of tacos, Mexican food and live music.

Chirrión serves 100 per cent Mexican food in a fun and modern ambiance. Ideal to go there with friends.
