Camper will launch a special footwear capsule collection in the summer in collaboration with EFI (Ethical Fashion Initiative), a platform that connects the most talented artisans in Haiti and sub-Saharan Africa, mostly women living in poor areas, with the international fashion industry.

A project which purpose is launching a limited edition capsule collection at the end of the year

This is a long-term alliance as the aim is to launch a limited-edition capsule collection every year under the slogan “Not Charity, Just Work”. You can learn more about it here. This collaboration creates decent and fair employment in developing countries, while minimizing the impact on the environment. And above all, thanks to such long links, artisans living in extreme poverty can change their lives.

Camper and EFI started their collaboration in 2015 when the footwear company began working with a tannery and local artisans in Ethiopia. The result is a striking psychedelic unisex boot available in three different models for men and women. It is made of Bati goat leather and inspired by Africa. The dyeing techniques, which have been used for centuries in different regions of West Africa, have been applied to the leather using natural dyes. From the same concept, this collection offers a unisex sandal available in blue, green and orange shades. Get yours here.
