There is life beyond tapas and paella at Barceloneta. BRO, a small restaurant with a casual but pleasant air, specializes in steak sandwiches made with grilled artisan bread. BRO serves very tasty bites to keep in mind if you are in the area!

The place is not large, but the communal tables provide a familiar and comfortable feel, thanks partly to their modern and functional design. Start with the classic choripan or lead potatos served with Philadelphia cheese, bacon and caramelized onion. But leave space for what is coming: hamburgers such as Provolone burger or the spicy Mexican burger for more experimental palates, with lettuce, onion, tomato, guacamole and chipote. However, the most prominent section of the menu is dedicated to grilled sandwiches. The Argentine crew knows how to make Milanesas, to which we devote a great applause, although we should also mention Bondiola Pork with arugula pesto, tomato and red onion. The vegetarian option and the salmon sandwich are the perfect alternative to less carnivorous guests.

BRO usually has empanadas outside the menu worth asking for. As for dessert, don’t leave without tasting their dulce de leche flan! Eating at BRO is about 10 euros.
