The aim of Isa, responsible for this artistic and social initiative being implemented at the Raval, Barcelona, is to embellish gray urban spaces. Called Bonowaps Yarnbombing, it seeks to add light and colour to the city streets.

The Yarnbombing technique, also known as guerrilla knitting, consists in dressing several points in the city with fabrics of differnt tones and materials. The idea is for the project to increase and extend to more areas in the city, specially in the saddest places to cheer them up with the intallation of bright-coloured fabrics. This technique make things using the hands and convince the neighbours to take part in this initiative. More info HERE.
