Bla, Bla, Bla is a bar thought to eat and chat with friends. Inspired by prestigious New York restaurants such as Patis and Blathazar, it is located behind Paseo Recoletos, an area in Madrid that is becoming more and more fashionable and that many now call Madrid’s Nothing Hill.

Bla, Bla, Bla is an ecobistró that serves bio food and wines. The decoration stands out for its chic rustic air with recycled materials such as palets, wooden floors, large mirrors and antique chairs mixed with modern aluminum ones that add luminosity to the place. The restaurant is divided into three areas: a bar, a main dining room and a wider one at the back. The menu is the work of chef Michel Reynaud and features French food combined with other gastronomic cultures.

Guests can eat à la carte for about 40 EUR per person or choose the set lunch menu for 17 EUR or the dinner menu for 29 EUR. On Saturdays, brunch is served for 22 EUR. For starters, we recommed oysters (French or Spanish), Provenzal-style musels with a glass of champaigne, a selection of cheeses or blinis with caviar. As a first course, try their Eggs in Glass with Black Truffle, Sardines in Ratouille with Vegetables, Lebanese-style Gourmet Hamburger with Goat Cheese or Café de Paris Entrecotte with a sauce made with 29 different spices. The dessert section includes Tarte Tatin and Chocolate Mousse, among other things.

The menu changes each season. If you happen to be in Madrid visiting some museums in the area, Bla, Bla, Bla is a great option to make a break and enjoy French food in an informan ambiance.
